Path for the Growth of MSMEs
In the current era of economic
slowdown, every where we are getting negative
growth rate - whether it is GDP (Gross Domestic
Product) or IIP (Index of Industrial Production) or
value of Rupee, every thing is going down. We
must seriously think which path can lead us to
growth.
In my viewthere are two areas of action:-
- Area of concern (related to us but can't do much individually)
and
- Area of influence (wherewe have the control)
We must identify our area of concern & area of influence.
Generally we always bother about our area of concern & do not think
about area of influence.............. Read More |

I knew from the start that there is no one behind me, so I had to
rely onmyself. I tookmy own decisions and became very independent.
This has helped me a lot in life and also cemented me as a successful

The Golden Bird of Orients- that was
Ancient India, renowned the world over for
unique items produced by its cottage & small

also ironically brought about the downfall of
the cottage & small industry & the decline
continued in post-independent India.
IIA came into being In 1985 with the
resolve to revive and work for the cause of
the cottage&small industry.
In its 26 years journey, IIA has

MSME Growth Strategies
MSMEs contribute significantly to industrial, economic,
technological, and regional development in all developed and developing
economies, and India can be no exception. Therefore, an all out effort is
necessary to make this sector grow effectively and speedily. For that to
happen, both the Government and the individual enterprises need towork
on their respective spheres with a common aim to bring growth in this
sector. This involves a slew of activities ranging from suitable policy
formulation and their deployment on one hand, and appropriate
innovations by the enterprises on the other.
This write-up limits itself to offering a suggestive list of possible
actions by the unit holders, keeping in mind the key question what are the
strategies that can be adopted by the MSMEs to attain innovation
advantage in limited resource environment? ............. Read More |
