Sold shirts in open market: Rekha further said, "I started my factory in partnership with my friend in Naraina, Delhi, but my husband's friend backed at the last moment, while we had already prepared his order." "After that we sold our all shirts in open market and started preparing orders for others, but my husband did not like it as sometimes I reached home late in night," Rekha added.
Started first factory in Sector 4: “Then I left that work and started preparing MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) switches." I started my first factory in Sector 4, Noida and after that I opened four more factories in a row in different sectors of the city. I am looking forward to set up my dream project in Haridwar, which is the biggest factory of my group where many other electrical products will be produced."
Clubbed personal life with professional work: Rekha said, "Success always asks for sacrifice. You cannot get anything without sacrificing anything. That's all I have done. I have given sacrifice of my personal life to achieve my dream. I clubbed my personal life with professional work. I have three sons. Two sons are settled abroad, whereas the youngest one is helping me in my business.
Contributed in solving women's personal issues: Rekha is also the president of Mahila Udyami Sangathan. She has done a lot of work in the field of rehabilitation of women. She has also given her contribution for solving their personal issues. She worked hard to provide women land for their industries in Noida and Greater Noida. She has also contributed in making Mahila Udyami Park, which is located in Greater Noida. She is also the vice chair person of Indian Industries Association (Noida Chapter). |
